Resorted to driving last time I went because the queueing for public transport is a joke.

Depends where you are coming from Andy. End of one of the tube lines is usually the best bet.

Cheers NE. Coming from West Sussex So M23 - M25. Obviously I’ve been to Wembley many times but never driven. Was thinking of taking my young daughter so driving seems a better option rather than the busy train and tube.

Nice one, thanks. It’s more than possible that the fixture might be changed again anyhow even
If it is at Wembley so may be academic.

Stadium announcement (re opening game) due next week

Will probably be the game v Brighton as we're beating Donny!

Including us they only have 5 home games left, they might as well just take the pressure off themselves and move in next season.

Interesting point is it new ground presume pitch is in different position then was in old ground . Spose same argument could be made for bournmouth didn't they move pitch round a bit for new stands ? Dorking probaly best bet knowing that .

Bournemouth rotated their pitch 90 degrees before their rebuild.

Tottenham's ground is massively bigger and although the pitch is in the same alignment, only part of the new stadium overlaps the footprint of the old one.

It's up to everyone who 'collects' grounds visited to make up their own mind regarding whether Spurs' new ground is indeed a 'new ground'

Personally I count Old Wembley/New Wembley as 2 different grounds, as the old ground was completely flattened, and no football was played there for 7 years in between old and new.

I am counting Spurs' new ground as different to the old WHL, because again a complete demolition, and the best part of 2 years with no matches played on the site between old and new.

I don't count Bournemouth's Dean Court as 2 different grounds though as they only moved out for 8 games (at Dorchester)!!

Everyone can treat is as they like as far as I'm concerned.

They've just announced that their game against Arsenal scheduled for the 2nd March will be played at Wembley. Surely they'll just see out the season there now?

There was no way Arsenal would have been the first game there anyway - police wouldn't have allowed such a high risk fixture for the first game

Tottenham (a) Sun 17th March 12 noon Live on Sky SUBJECT TO FA CUP PARTICIPATION

Nor would Spurs want their first game at the new WHL to potentially end with a loss to their fiercest rivals that would be on the records forever (IMO).

Edit - just seen wrightchip said the same.
