I liked all his off the ball contributions yesterday. Implies a player following coaches instructions, which is why he gets selected pretty consistently.

I am not a fan of Ayew and still not and I dont think he should be in our starting 11
But he was definitely better in the wide position than as central striker

Have been critical of Jordan in the past, but was very good yesterday.

Ironic that just as he hits form he loses his place.

His best game for Palace by a country mile, but he still seems to lack belief in his play when in on goal which is a pity as i feel there is a decent player hidden away in there.

Different to anything we have. Runs so direct at goal for striker. I think he does suit us with his style maybe not his personality. Which some may laugh, but is important.

As others have said, he's much better in wide areas (which is no surprise considering he is a winger)

My man of the match, whereas we have been told that Wilf conserves his energy by not tracking back as much, Ayew is the polar opposite and seems to be getting fitter in the process.

When you have Ayew and Townsend in the team, you can afford to play 4-4-2 because they cover so much work defensively and yet provide an offensive outlet. It means we can play both a big man and Michy up front.

A big shout out to Jordan Ayew's massive contribution to Wilf's second goal yesterday. Another classic chase back and robbing of the opposition player, and this time had the space to charge forward and set Wilf up...Brilliant, exactly why Roy brought him on instead of Benteke.

I'll put my neck out and say, that although he's not a true centre forward, this is one guy I'd happily see in the squad for next season.

Yep, cracking bit of play that yesterday, tenaciously robs the labouring Maguire, surges in to space at speed, then a lovely little lay off for Wilf to bury it, excellent.

Yep, I've always liked him and thought he was better than most on here gave him credit for - even during the first half of the season.

Great bit of work yesterday and I hope we can make it a permanent in the summer. Good squad player with a bit of versatility.

Watch the footage after ward's goal when the cameras show hodgson reaction ayew is in the background looking miserable when more than 20000 are cheering and delighted
He doesn't look happy for his teammates

Are you really going to judge him on that? And jump to a conclusion? It's obvious he doesn't have the most bubbly personality. He seems to fit in no problem with the squad and has worked hard.
