What more do you think the EU could have offered?

They did not have to offer a thing and my expectation was that they would make it as hard as possible if it's political or negotiating to show what a bad idea it is to leave the EU club for others to take note, especially how bad it's been for a big player like the UK..

Maybe the UK would have had more if they would not have had the most useless set of politicians in its history who could not agree amongst themselves what they wanted let alone negotiating with the EU who must have laughed their bollocks off each time May went to beg them for more and got weaker and weaker.

The only reason why the EU held all the cards is that May and corbyn keep showing them the cards

I really don't understand what it is that the 34% or so of people in the polls don't understand about this.It doesn't matter how many interviews Nigel Farage does where he says it's going to be amazing,it doesn't stop your post being true.

There never were any cards. We had nothing but a simple choice of which rung on barnier’s ladder we wanted to live on.

There was no ace for us to pull - just a simple choice of paying the bill, looking after their citizens and choosing what shape we wanted the future relationship to take within the rules of the Eu and the wto.

There was never a negotiation other than the method of working out how much we would pay.

That didn't at all answer the question. I asked what more could have been given. You answered about our strength in negotiation. Maybe you should be a politician?

We only had one card - the timing of the A50 notification. For reasons I couldn't fathom then, and can't understand now, we decided to throw it away while we utterly unprepared, with Brexiters cheering it on as some kind of victory.

These same Brexiters who now advise that leaving with no deal will turn out in our favour.

These people are idiots.

Farage’s party, UKIP, won the biggest share of the vote and the most seats at the last European elections (26.6%, 24 seats) To view the link you have to Register or Login) . Do you think he’s going to increase that share?
