He's not good enough??!! So we have an under performing player who is clearly having trouble getting his head together who is still our standout player by a mile. I think he has to go, but that doesn't say much about the rest of the team does it?

Yes. ‘Other than’ their title winning season.

Apologies for responding on behalf of another poster but it may be because we'd beaten them on each of the last 4 occasions by a cumulative 13-1.

Indeed, in the previous meeting, we won 4-1 against a team which featured 8 players (Schmeichel, Ricardo Pereira, Evans, Tielemans, Ndidi, Maddison, Vardy & Barnes) who started for them on Saturday.

The 'shame' is that they've progressed so much more than us since then.

You can be the biggest fan in the world of cpfc and sp but you can't compare the ambition of the family who own Leicester and sp and the yanks there poles apart in fairness to sp his not in there money league probaly with his wealth he has took us as far as he can .we are a bit like arsenal and there owners there init to make money not lose it unless your lucky enough to find owners like Leicester man city bournmouth Chelsea ect who seem to be happy to lose money because it's there expensive hobby that a billionaire can have .

It’s one game. We can’t win them all. Just because we beat them the last 4 times in a row, doesn’t mean we automatically deserve another victory. Football is ever changing variables.

That means nothing. Brighton comprehensively beat us twice last season, and there was a period where we beat Liverpool three times in a row.

What counts is the league table, and it indicates Leicester have been ahead of us for four years now, despite our results against them.

Don’t think we’ll be selling Wilf for anything like £80m - it seemed unlikely last summer and ridiculous now. SP must have always known that talk of 100m was nothing short of fanciful.

Some of us are in for a nasty shock when he does go!

Clearly. As I said, I was supposing on behalf of the previous poster.

I think Wilf has dropped his level of play to match the valuation fee of his suitors, which is probably at the instructions of his new agent to force a move in January. Let’s face it, you’re never going to get £60-80m for a forward who can’t score on a regular basis...

Maybe, but it doesn’t matter if you’re an £80m player or an 80k one, you’re going to have fewer suitors if you show a shit attitude.

We’re looking at £40m max at the moment

If I was SP id be trying to do a deal with Chelsea for next summer. Bats and £15m for Wilf

He needs to move on

He’s had enough, that’s clear to see

We need to maximise his value ASAP - in hindsight we should have done that in the summer.

Sadly make you right as it’s just not the same anymore and we should’ve took instalments off arsenal ( if it would’ve secured a big big fee).

We would be in a far stronger position if we had been able to use some of the awb money to bring in someone who might be able to eventually replace wilf and offer some competition for his place and some attacking verve to our squad. Our pacey/wide/creative options are so limited. We have brought in one attacking player (ayew) on the past 3 windows and shipped out two (sako and sorloth) which is ridiculous. We have comfortably the least amount of depth in attack in the division. 2 wingers and 2 strikers (one of whom has scored 3 in 50)

Any guesses what our front line would be if cb and Ayew were injured and wilf suspended? Schlupp and Andros? With luka kouyate McCarthy and MacArthur in midfield.

To maximise his value we need to spend some money to support him.
