Where can we see goals from our friendlies?

If you were deciding which of Kuqi and Scowcroft to keep based on tonights performance it would be Kuqi you'd be keeping.

In reality, I'm sure it'll be the player on the biggest wage that will leave. Probably Kuqi, then.

Would be a mistake, IMHO. Looks much fitter this season.

Kuqi can get us goals this year, that is the important difference with him and Scowcroft and he has the record at this level to prove it. You only needed to watch the game against Preston to see what he can deliver.
Scowcroft's goalscoring record is poor at best, he is not the type of player that will come off the bench and win us a game. Yes he can offer us another dimension, but at the expense of the other strikers it is an option I'd rather leave if it meant subbing Kuqi or Clinton Morrison who last season did win us games. Straightforward decision to me.

To say we should keep scowie ahead of kuqi is madness!

PT would probably want to keep both but I would guess any decent offers for either Kuqi or Clint and SJ will be tempted to take it.

Scowcroft is a very average trier who never scored many goals. Kuqi definitely has it in him to score. However, we paid well over the odds for Scowcroft so we wouldn never get more than about £100k for him max. So we would release his wages (surely not great) but little else.
SK has to be given a chance up front with CM, starting in Sweden |

From NSC 10th July 2015 What a great signing for Palace, one of their best ever (if not the best). World-class player. Just shows once again how timing is everything and how financial fate can hinge on a key moment or two...one shit home play-off performance, Zaha wakes up after five months sleep-walking, Speroni finger-tip save onto the bar. That night changed the respective fortunes of the two clubs for a good few years, but we all suspected that even at the time. |

Great to read re: Kuqi from Gooders and CG.
Between him, Clinton and AN Other, we should have enough fire power. Now, it's up to the midfield to supply them |

I don't think you can compare Macken to Kuqi based on the fact that Macken had a serious injury that most likely caused his lack of a return to good form.
Also their playing styles are completely different, Kuqi is a human battering ram, who will terrorise defences if he can maintain his fitness and pick up form. |

L_E, I agree that SK is a hard player to get a good partner for, but we should at least try him with CM, as partnerships take time to build and Taylor has not so far done this.
I also agree that the jury is still very much out on SK, but unlike Macken he has at least shown signs of being both a trouble to defenders and a possible goal scorer. Mackem showed neither. |

SJ said we were looking for a striker, but didnt say anything about having to sell. I'm thinking then, that, maybe (hoping) that target PT has is going to cost some decent money, if the requirement is to get rid of someone.
It otherwise doesnt fit in to: SJ: We're siging a centre-back, midfielder, and a striker PT: I've sold all I need to |
