Absolute bollocks.

You spent the whole election telling us your family were died in the wool labour bla bla youíve never voted Tory before yadeyada but Corbyn means you canít vote red.

Just admit youíre a Tory bell suckler and move on. At least then we can all acknowledge that, actually, youíd never vote Labour even if they had Jesus Christ himself at the helm.

Then again, Jesus would almost definitely be a socialist so thatís 1-0 to the Romans anyway innit.

So Sajid Javid, the Chancellor no less, states that there will not be any alignment with EU rules post-Brexit.

Meanwhile the EU has published a number of slides on its Article 50 website under the title 'EU27 preparatory discussions on the future relationship'. The phrase that keeps on cropping up is 'ensure a level playing field'.

The EU is basically setting the agenda again by publishing all these documents to ensure that the EU27 are all singing from the same songsheet.

It's all going to end in tears again.

No I didnt. I spent the whole election saying I could never vote for labour because of their brexit policy and that tory was the only way I could be sure of getting Brexit done.

Go back and check I voted corbyn twice in leadership elections. I've personally never had a problem with him until he backtracked on brexit.

You're a moron.

You voted for the Tories to deliver a Tory Brexit which will more damaging to the economy outside of London than the decade of Tory austerity.

You can't post things like this on here. It could upset some hard liners.

Was chuffed up to the bit about this being based on Ďan orderly divorceí.

Then I remembered that Boris has time limited the deal to a year, is seeking divergence on regs, workers rights and enviro concerns.

Then I saw it was a 0.1% uplift if everything goes our way and also remembered that they are 27 and we are one and normally 27 vs 1 donít normally concede everything in a year.

Great headline. Not a lot to be chuffed about sadly.

Daily Express headline 'Anger as EU drags feet over trade talks'.

Apparently the UK wants to commence trade talks the day after Brexit. It will be a Saturday but who cares.

The EU quite rightly are getting all their ducks in a row and probably won't be ready until March.

Whatever happens I'm sure the EU will be turning up with a big file of what needs to be done rather than a single page document from Boris saying sign here.

Is it just me or does anybody else get a slight frisson of excitement when they see DaveTuttles has posted?

I open the thread in anticipation of a good chuckle at this example of Brexit bellendery writ large.

I am rarely disappointed.
