A way must be found to work Meyer into the team. Intelligent passing, particularly when on the break, is what we are lacking most. I'd play Townsend and Zaha up front, drop Ayew ( not that he's the problem per se ) and get Meyer in behind. We had so much better movement when we played those two up front last season and Meyer would give us that little more guile.

Exploited the space conceded by Norwich well for the goal

Double figure points and September isn't even out. As Harry Bassett says, only another 29 points to go (maybe a few less, even)

And can I add myself to the 'Let's all smile at Watford' brigade. Gracia back by Christmas. Or even Silva when he gets the bum's rush from Everton?

It's not his passing range or vision lacking, it's that Meyer isn't strong and we don't play with the fluency and movement to showcase what Meyer can do.

Now putting Zaha and Townsend up front on the other hand...

No. It's Roy. Target man, no midfield creator and hope to grind points. Not having a pop at RH, he's relying on hard work and is in the business of winning rather than entertaining. Given the recent investment, he might be right, but no one should think we'll keep up this points per game ratio given our overall play. We've had so much go our way this season and it can't last. A long, long season awaits, IMHO. Thank God we have a headstart on the bottom three.

When Meyer came on in games, like today, he looks pretty good as the game has opened up and has tired legs around him. The trouble is, when he starts and the tackles and physical side of the game is needed he doesnt look up to it at all. We need someone who can offer both. eg Loftus-Cheek.

Liven up mate youve been talking for about 5 years now as if we are on the brink of relegation every year and any win we get is lucky.

Entertaining Game today. Good all round Team performance no weak links. Thought Schlupp had a good game today and Cahill solid at the back. Andros good goal and actually a few decent crosses with his right foot!

Think we just about deserved it. 1st half was split between us starting well and Norwich getting on top from around halfway through but we were in control in the 2nd Half.

It wasn't a bad performance, it was a decent performance bearing in mind the limited squad we have

Nice one Roy. God we need a striker in January.
