I have no problem signing ex-players who could help us. The two I've highlighted were brought in because they were good, and both of those were bloody good on their respective returns.

Morrison and Derry too. AJ was bizarre, Hopkin also appeared to be based on sentiment as opposed to ability. That handball was great though

I think that's also very different to AJ and Hopkin type signings. What was Kember like when he came back?

Glad that all these non-scoring strikers keep getting ruled out. More chance of signing a decent one.

For me he will always be a typical 'mezzanine' striker. Good in the Champ but disappears in the PL. We haven't missed out here.

I think what’s frustrating is that Brighton’s weakness has been scoring goals. They have logically gone and obtained two strikers this window to add competition & depth in that area.

We have one striker, and said striker has scored one goal all season. We have purchased zero strikers (thus far) and therefore have not increased depth or competition in this area, despite this also being a logical and blatantly obvious area of the squad to address.

Now if we can add one or more strikers in the next 48 hours then I might agree we haven’t missed out. As things stand, we have missed out though, unless you think Ladappo is better than Ulloa.

Yet we've been scoring 2 goals per game and they're struggling to score at all
