Pace, skill, set peice deliver, 2 footed. There is a lot to like about him. Never been given a decent run at Arsenal. Was at Hoffenheim under Nagelsmann who was impressed with his talent.

Final year of his contract i think so if we were able to bring him in for £10m or less that would represent very good business, especially with Eze out and Olise recovering at present.

Having benteke who thrives on early crosses... is it too much to ask for a left footed guy on the left and right footed guy on the right?

First time crosses and getting to the line to stand it up.... not all the time but we should be doing it more with benteke waiting in the middle. Do that ans its a free header for the big man

This ^^^^^

Arsenal supporting work mate who actually goes to games rates him quite highly and said he’s a strong player too. Thinks he needs a manager who’ll believe in him. Also thinks having PV will help us if we’re in for him

We were in talks with Nelson from May, I actually posted it on another thread around that time. Nelson seemed to think then he was coming here, and that's from his own words. Things could have changed of course.

Doesn't seem to be much speculation about the fee but I'd say anything over £10m and we've overpaid, anything close to £5m and we've got a bargain.

If he's that good why would another mid table team let him go?

transfermarkt has it down as 2 years i think but there has been a lot of reporting that he is coming into the final year and Arsenal have offered him a new deal he is not signing.

Because the player wants to go. Players like Willian and Pepe are in front of him in the pecking order, and he rates himself as better than those. He is looking for a platform to prove it, and is why he wont sign a new contract.

Willian was just awful last season so it begs the question why he was ahead of Nelson?

Wiki says he signed a “long term contract” in November 2018. Unlikely to be more than 5 years which would mean entering the last year this autumn.
