Is that the same Sheffield Wednesday that the weeds took one man his dog to for a play-off semi-final. The club they dismissively refer to as “massive”?

It’s often impossible to comprehend what they’re trying to say. Their posts are generally nonsense or illiterate or both.

I thought it was a Ponzi scheme, wasn't it? Or maybe I'm mistaking it for their season ticket, which is a ponce scheme. Same difference.

Sheffield Wednesday FC and their stadium are steeped in football history. A playoff semi final is one of the most important games in a club’s history - especially a perennial lower league minnow like Brighton who had never been in the PL.

But how can their fans be excited at the prospect of going to a game without padded seats, or award winning pies and concourse?

I remember the first time we played Liverpool in the old 1st Div at The Goldstone, we lost 1-4 to what was one of the great Liverpool teams with the likes of Kenny Dalgleish, Ray Kennedy etc, etc, playing for them. They played football from another planet compared to us and it was a joy to watch
There are several posts putting forward Liverpool thrashings ahead of Citeh too, because let's face it, so many of them are Brighton Kop

Oh dear, such jealousy

Man City are a joyless technical machine that has cost billions to put together. The way they play is perfectly suited to playing in front of no fans. They are also quite used to playing in an empty stadium as the Etihad has barely anyone there for most matches

2 very bizarre quotes just highlighted.

Firstly considering most of their 'fans' started watching them in 2011 and not when they were at the Gallstone Ground, in the early 1980's.
And as for the empty stadium at the Etihad (!) they get 50000+ at most games. Yep, there may be some unused seats, like at the Amex, but I doubt if many of their fans, don't attend because their 2nd teams (they support) are at home !!

How many Man City fans turned up to their matches in the 3rd tier?

How many Tarquins bothered to turn up to their matches in the 3rd tier? (Not including the thousands locked out of the empty athletics track.)

Exactly.

Not surprisingly, their fanbase has got a bit more arrogant, because of all their recent success, but a lot retain the 'gallows' humour, they had when they were pretty sh*t, in the 90s and 000s and don't worry about padded seats and award winning concourses.
