Easily.

The added bonus is that if we get to the Prem and somehow manage to stay there with a sustainable model then there is zero pressure to sell financially. Only if and when he wants to go. I'm hopeful that we'd be a few years away from that scenario. Particularly if he goes on to be full welsh first teamer with us (surely only a matter of time).

If people want us to keep our best young talent, we must go up and stay up, and as fans, the best way we can enhance the potential of this happening is to attend Palace matches. I imagine some of the people moaning about Wilf leaving were watching the ManUre game instead of supporting the boys V Hull; how depressingly ironic. Many wil return if/when we win promotion, itís inevitable, but hardly inspiring.

We can support the club in one way only Ė by supporting the club. Currently, not enough people are doing that.

I think the path is clear now:

1. Stay and learn your trade, playing 2-3 full seasons. Enjoy your football, learn, improve, and prove you're ready to move up.

2. Take your pick from the best clubs in the world.

It's certainly not nice that as soon as Williams puts a real string of performances together (something that would surely have happened sooner, were it not for injury), there's rumours of the vultures circling. However, this is what happens in football.

If you want to be angry, be angry at the footballing establishment - Premier League, Sky, etc - who have allowed huge monetary disparities between teams at the top and the teams only just behind them in terms of league position.

At this point in time cant see a club bidding what it would take for us to let him go. I think he has the potential to be far better than Wilf and even the best ever Palace academy player. But other clubs will still see him as very injury prone so wont be willing to pay big money now.

well, if Man Utd come in for him we have to let him go IMMEDIATELY. Does the same apply to Man City? Let's hope we can do the deal quickly to avoid squad unrest. Until we've done a season in the Premiership, every player is sold on the cheap. Zaha will be worth 30m+ after 1 season in the Premiership. The same is probably true of Joniesta.

We got over 100 games out of Zaha for ****s sake, that's hardly letting him go immediately. We let Wilfried go when the speculation started to affect his game and he indicated that he'd like to leave.

Jonny has done no such thing and as yet there hasn't been much speculation. He's playing fantastically but I'd be surprised if he wasn't still at Palace in two years time.

It's inevitable that there will be a huge amount of interest in Williams, and no doubt one or two attempts to de-stabilise him. But from the way CPFC2010 handled the Zaha transfer I'm confident that he'll be sold only for the right money, and at the right time. IMO "the right time" will not be before the end of the 2013-14 season, and hopefully much later.

Of course the system stinks, and probably won't improve much with Financial Fair Play once its loopholes are completely exploited. But at least if we remain on a firm financial footing we'll not be in a worse bargaining position than any other club outside the moneybags circle.

What we do have that some others don't - and it was great to hear about the additional investment earlier in the week - is an academy that's producing great talent year in, year out. As long as that happens we're in with a chance of replacing anyone.

I think we were lucky in a way that he did get injured or we would certainly have had approaches in the window.

I wouldn't bet against him playing for Man U along with Wilf at some point - hopefully at least 3 years away!

We can support the club in one way only Ė by supporting the club. Currently, not enough people are doing that.
The thrust of this bemoans the lack of support the Club and this current team deserves. On the BBS, to most, it is preaching to the converted.

If we go back to Allison's time, Palace got gates of 25k to watch Aldershot on a midweek night. The team of the 80s were well supported too.

The problem is there have been so many false dawns at Palace. Dreams smashed by idiot owners, rogues and fantasists. Is it surprising that many Palace faithful or so called 'stay aways' are cynical?

Palace have only recently emerged from the jaws of disaster. Rescued by 4 rich fans, it is going to take them time to build the infrastructure which will support the Club to rise and more importantly to sustain that rise for more than just one season.

Palace have always been seen by the media at best, as plucky. Any success on the field with a raised eyebrow and patronising comment. Never taken seriously.

If Place go up, we will be odds on to be relegated. We won't even be on the same page as Sunderland, Fulham, Stoke, Wigan, West Ham or even QPR. Even if any one of those go down, Palace won't enjoy the same status in the eyes of the media as we most likely struggle to stay up. Our best players will be coveted by the Premiership establishment. Agents will fan the flames in the press to entice Palace players to leave the Club. Is it then any wonder that the mass of supporters and those CPFC2010 are hoping to attract will think any differently?

Against all of this the owners have to battle to build up the Club's image.

Two things hold the key to future success and they are both underpinned by youth.

The Academy is a diamond and if Jordan is owed any gratitude, it is his re-establishment of the Academy after the Noades era and the Goldberg fiasco. Of course Jordan would have sold it off if fortune hadn't thank goodness, intervened three years ago.

Look at the players we have produced in the last 10 years. We are producing more and more now and how they are managed and more importantly, how they and their families are supported by the Club is vital. They hold the key to the future success of this great Club on the field. Of course we can't keep them all but their progress to bigger and better will attract more budding stars here until one day Palace too will become the bigger and better and the Club will choose who it keeps.

In the wider context of the Club itself, the fans will return but so much has to be put in place first. So many mistakes were made in the past which must be put right. Systems must be put in place to ensure the same mistakes are not made again.

I have never felt more proud to support the team home and away in over 40 years as I do now. As I get older, the fans are younger of course but their passion and vocal support is a joy. I see a real strategy by the owners to attract younger fans to Selhurst and it is working.

Unlike in the past and perhaps uniquely, Palace have 4 equal part owners. They are also fans who have witnessed with most of us the errors of the past and shook their heads.

Now they can do something about it but their responsibilty is awesome.
