What I dont understand is how it is a parliamentary committee that is calling him out and not the sports governing body.
Am I right in believing that they have called him out on ethical grounds as oppossed to actually breaking the rules? If so should the parliamentary committee be making public what in affect is simply their opinion or should we be pointing our fingers at the Sports governing body and question why their rules are so lax? |

Sebastian Cole, Sir David Brailsford we trust these guys believing our own athletes are clean and this only happens in other countries how wrong we are!

Not quite sure how the same substance can be banned for performance enhancing but then allowed as a health treatment?

Not sure what Mo has done wrong, injecting yourself with a legal supplement isn't doping. Sounds like Wiggins and team Sky really pushed the boundaries.

What mystifies me is why cycling has become such a big sport. You need some sort of drugs to alleviate the boredom of watching it.

Mo Farah can do no right in the eyes of the Mail, Telegraph etc, because a) he's an immigrant and b) he's a Muslim. In a world of fake news he's guilty as proven by the tabloids.

So have either actually committed an offence?

No. The mess around Team Sky is huge though, you would say the circumstantial evidence of something going on is pretty overwhelming what with the unidentified Jiffy bags, stolen laptops and accidents deliveries of industrial quantities of performance enhancing substances. Their former team doctor has admitted they were using TUEs creatively in order to achieve Brailsford's famed 'marginal gains'. Certainly the team can no longer claim to be whiter than white, which I thought was their core value. |

I would just make it all legal and then open a betting market on athletes dropping dead during the event. Let's see how far humans can take these doses.

All part of the doctrine of marginal gains no doubt. But entirely wrong.

You’d trust Dave Brailsford as far as you could throw him (legally)

I happen to think consuming any alcohol whatsoever and driving a car is unethical. Yet the law allows some consumption. Others have a different view of the ethics around this and are happy having a drink and then driving. Who is right? |
