Isn't that just Dominic Cummings' Machiavellian genius trying to lure Corbyn into an election?

Probably not.

In many of the seats they currently hold they will strengthen their lead. There are very few seats where their Brexit position is likely to win them a seat they don't currently hold. There are many more seats that they currently hold where their Brexit position is likely to lose them the seat.

Given their polar opposite opinions there can be no Lib Dem coalition with them so they will need 320 seats to govern without support and if they need support the DUP are still the ones most likely.

The problem with a General Election is we are likely to be back in the current position (with a few more Lib Dem MPs) and still no majority for anything.

Dunno about that. Unless the tories win a majority, I think the other parties will find it pretty easy to align on brexit, at least. Johnson really has taken his party out on a limb.

Would they have to renew their subscription for continued DUP support?

Would the Lib Dems put Corbyn in No.10 with his left wing agenda? I don't think they would. Not sure the SNP would unless Corbyn gives them a 2nd referendum.

If that happened and there was a 2nd referendum in Scotland and they decided to leave, when would the 3rd Brexit referendum be because the maths would have changed again.

I think he's one of those who gets off on the conflict and turmoil. He enjoys a good war but so far he's never actually been affected. No deal will bring home some reality.

Brexiteers will profit from shorting Britain and also likely see economic hardship and I'd expect rioting - perfect conditions for extremists to take hold. Without an EU to stop them (as in Greece) they can impose their emergency powers and trounce constitutions, et voila, you have your dictatorship.

Fascism always arrives as your friend with all the answers.

I think that by the time a lib lab coalition has done all the sensible and immediate priority social democratic stuff, and comrade Corbyns eyes gleam at the prospect of phase 2: socialism! It will be time for another election anyway.

The 3rd referendum can happen once EU settled status people have the vote.

Depends whats on offer. Proportional Representation and a Second Referendum would swing it for the Lib Dems.

Yes, guessed that was going to happen when it was mentioned on the wireless tonight that a few of her choices would raise eyebrows. She's compounded it by knighting Geoffrey Boycott, for services to insomnia suffers and self regard.

Cronyism and short-termism. This is the economics of the Tories

Can someone explain to me ...

1. How is it possible to accidentally grant new export licences of military equipment to Saudi Arabia when it is illegal?

2. How is she still in the Cabinet as International Trade Secretary?

3. When will people realise the Tories are a massive bunch of *****?

It was actually spares for an air conditioner and radio parts and the Saudis agreed not to use them in Yemen.

No one will die because of it, I suspect the error is down to civil servants advising her rather than her trying to sneak in weapons.

In any event it keeps a few people employed in the factories making them.
