Eventually you will be able to come to terms with yourself for giving us Johnson. You are just not quite there yet.

The mistake is the uneven level if public cash going to Scotland and its over representation in parliament... way too many Scots MP's and a parliament that shouldn't be there !

You won't have to worry about that soon.

There is no magic wand powerful enough to influence enough of the electorate to install a solid socialist government of the type that you and I would prefer, especially with the country in the current mood.

30% of the electorate are conservative right wingers, 30% prefer moderate centre politics, and 30% want our kind of politics. For Labour to win in 2024, we need to get at least 15%/20% of the centre to win. That doesn't mean shedding our values, but it does mean boxing more clever, more tactically and with an effective strategy. When in power with a decent majority, Labour can emulate the Tories and do what they like.

It is good to read political commentators suggesting that nationalism and populism has had its day, with Swiss voting the way they did recently in their referendum, Trump trailing significantly in the polls, and today, New Zealand's Labour great victory in a general election, with a proportional representation system, and now for the first time, ditching the right wing nationalists in a new exclusive socialist government.

Keep the faith.
Thanks SE25. Even where we disagree you’re a civil and thoughtful poster.

I'm not a fan of his ... but blame yourselves, for as Remainers you forced the majority election result.

Terry this is a thread for you to apologise on, so make your inaccurate aspersions on one of the other political threads, and then come back on here when you cannot handle your guilt any longer.

Tories have got something to be proud of, especially the current mob. They are simply the worst, the worst in my lifetime.

Please see this as your first step to redemption, a cathartic moment if you like, where you can unburden yourself of the guilt you will at some point be feeling for playing your part in totally ******* up this great country of ours.

You may not need this thread now or even see a need for it, but at some point you will be thankful that it is here for you.
Is this a Catholic thing where stuff is done anomalously, or are legal proceedings pending ?

To be fair as horrendous as that would be he would have had no time for Cummins as he at least can think for himself whereas Boris has no time for such piffling things as thinking.

I take it you actually meant anonymously?

If so, no it is to be done in the style of an AA meeting:

'My name is stupid **** and I am a Tory voter'

I thought the Boris policy was of having your cake and eating it, since when were chicken dinners introduced to entice the gullible?

I think you will find the population of Greater London is over double that of Scotland.

Just saying, on a London football club website.
