And one of my favourite soul singers of all time......Darrell Banks, a true icon of the Northern Soul scene, cut some great records in his far too short life. These include classics like 'Open the door to your heart', 'Somebody (somewhere) needs you', 'Our love is in the pocket'...but here are 2 tracks which show his talent, the first a gritty slice of Soul, the second a little bit more polished. Darrell Banks..SOUL MAN..SOUL POWER!
