Obviously many people (particularly those in the vulnerable category) will be unsure about returning in the current climate, although I suspect the majority won't really give a shit.

Selhurst's concourses aren't exactly designed for easy social distancing so I can't imagine what measures they can put in place to put people's minds at ease. Probably a few half-full hand sanitisers and some overpriced Palace masks.

If fans are given the green light in October will you be going?

If you're fit and healthy just get on with your life (following the guidelines).

possible to be "fit and healthy" but also live with, be friends with or have family who are elderly or vulnerable to a virus like this, so it isn't that straight forward.

Definitely.

Think no away fans and no food / drink to start with.

Unlikely to catch anything from goal celebrations....

Irony: if the public could be trusted to mask up and behave we’d be allowed back in. “But masks infringe my yoomin rights”, the gammon say.

So we’ve lost out thanks to the gammon ‘free thinkers’. 1-0 to individual rights.

If we're allowed back to the football at least modern day hooliganism doesn't have to change; lot's of walking backwards with arms outstretched shouting stuff, a bit of playground pogoing and peacocking but not a single ruffle of your designer jumper.

Latest- the holmesdale fanatics are ZERO priority. They
A- don’t stay in their own seat
B- throw lighters at England players without sanitising them first
C- sing dirge like post code songs (singing spreads the &#129440
D- parish finally wakes up and realises they are just a bunch of spotty oiks

The dusty lot evicted from block E should be the first lot invited back. They're already spread all over the ground now and don't sing, so infection rates should be low.

I think it would be great to get some fans back in. But I think away fans should be excluded. It's not their presence in the ground, but the travel logistics/risks. And, at a reduced capacity, home support should receive priority for now.

I won't be going. The risk will be mitigated, but I'm too far up the league table of vulnerability for attendance to make any sense. But the rest of you should have the opportunity. And it will lend that bit of genuine atmosphere to those of us watching on the box. However, I will be very pissed off if the Fanatics are afforded any kind of priority.

Will Parish flog tickets to Palace fans in the away end of the Arthur at the capped price of £30? If so I might be tempted as opposed to the £50 they were charging for the same stand.

The below is very controversial, so apologies in advance for any unintended offence caused. It's only one opinion, one I agree with but that's because I would get to go but

If restricted numbers at Selhurst

(1) Only full paying adults. Ban any concessions.

No children. They destract guardians/ parents less likely to understand/ follow guidelines so safety hazard. Teachers are worried about having children in their school, no logic way they can be allowed in a football stadium.
One season won't matter, they have far more many years in the future to see Palace

Over 65s for health reasons. Sorry, you've watched us for years - would have affected the late Daddy Charltonhater but I actually care for you and your health. Mega discounts on 21/22 tickets for you
Students - no sane student should spend money on football tickets under the current economic situation. Or be traveling back and forth from their place of study to the stadium. Students will be angry. Until in ten years when they grow up after a decade in the real world

(2) Foreign tourists only allowed if they pay for an executive box. Executive box cost rocket. Charge £10000 each per game. Make up the money from restrictions in the stands

(3) Anyone who took a refund on 19/20 ST should be excluded behind those who did Credit/Academy/Foundation. Sounds harsh but if they needed the money, then shouldn't be spending it again so quick. Maybe put it in savings, for any potential second wave.
If not, it's a lack of faith on the club.

Do that and I reckon from last year's ST holders you'll be left with probably 4,000-7,000 fans who would be able/want to go to games.

Fans travel from many different areas with some areas more of a COVID 19 risk than others.

Without a proven vaccine it is playing with fire to allow large gatherings of people who could then have contact with people who are more vulnerable than themselves.

Not worth the risk as things stand until it is 100% safe for crowds to return.

Interesting.

I was talking to someone from Hampshire who was saying they do not expect any fans this season.
