Looking at the squad just don't know where the fix is , could be big problems behind the scenes I reckon , some weirdly lacklustre & below par perforances

If we can't fix these we've got a battle on our hands already.
Zaha is the problem, he is toxic now in the team. Big problem for Roy, none of his making, interesting how he deals with it.

In other words he’s not happy with Wilf’s performance.

Nor should he be.

Oh let's scapegoat the player who has kept us up. That's why he wanted out , frustrated with tactics , lack of quality and investment.
What did the other ten do !!

Roy has been given the worst defence in the PL and no striker- if Cahill Sakho and Tomkins can get on the pitch soon that fixes one problem and the striker will be yet another loaner in Jan. Didn’t help that our captain was a joke today - wheres the leadership?

He’s got to use the players in their best positions.

I'm not a massive Roy fan but jesus what other top manager would want to take over this shower of a squad. No one would.

Oh wait maybe Dougie could step in. Perhaps that was the plan all along to get him back into management. Shaft Roy in the transfer window and Dougie to pick up the pieces.

Has he ever said that?

He has said he wants to leave by handing in a transfer request, so what does that do for team moral, when he is still here. You make out he is some super hero who single handily kept us up, don't believe the hype he has had as many poor games for us as good.

What on earth would possess anyone to write drivel such as this?

Performances such as the one today lead to the sack.

He is set in his ways so I seriously doubt he will do what is needed to change the way we play, so the hope is that the new signings come in and shine.

I think the countdown clock has started. The expected defeat to Man U followed by a loss to Villa at home could do for him.

Sounds like you want him to fail. Who would want the job with the Zaha issue hanging over the club like a bad smell.

I just cant understand his reluctance to change but find it more annoying seeing our players played out of position. Its a kick in the nuts seeing Schlupp come straight in ahead of others, especially when we could habe done with Ayew at that point. I dont expect it to change so rather we plan for the change

One nil down away to a poor side, so take off a winger and put on a defensive midfielder.

That's a ridiculous thing to say given his track record.

If the players misfire or simply can't be arsed then that is not the manager's fault - rather it's a problem he has to address.

Not many managers better equipped to do that than Roy.
