Don't shoot me but I think Giroud would be a good call on a six month loan. Youngsters keeping him out at Chelsea and desperate to keep himself in the national team. Certainly would be hungry to perform.

I think we need to stop looking at these short term fixes or we'll be in exactly the same position come next transfer window that we have been for years.

Bring in a young striker that can play for seasons

January is never a good window to get value for money. Giroud on loan till the summer would be an absolute no-brainer. He's a class player and would fit our system well.

Really want Eze from QPR. Might have missed the boat though, think bigger clubs are interested

January is a quick fix window. We should be planning for next summer now if we had a decent scouting setup.

Just read the Mail article, they've just read the same reports we all have and put 2 + 2 together and written that article, no facts, quotes or even rumours just speculation.

Agree, next best thing after Allan Saint-Maximin (who turned out to adapt to the PL just fine, who knew). Seems like we've missed the boat on both now. I do wonder how the hell Steve and Dougie plan to replace Zaha.

I don't think we had the funds for a wide forward like Saint-Maxim unless we sold Wilf, which didn't happen.

As for Eze, there is a reason he is still playing in the Championship and no one was willing to offer the money for him up to now. He has been inconsistent and some talk about him not doing enough for the team. He certainly appears to have kicked on again this season and who knows, maybe we could still have a chance.

But again, we may feel we have to sell Wilf first.

I don't think it's any secret that a new centre forward and full back(s) are our priority at the moment. They were in the summer and probably will be in the next window too. If we spend anything more than a few million on a player, it will be in one or both of those positions.

Chelsea only have 3 senior strikers so cant see them letting one of them go. Would prefer Batshuayi if anyone from them

Jarrod Bowen scores again. Scored an absolute belter against QPR at the weekend. I would prefer him to Morelos.

OK: I'm going to say this again... Ryan Christie, at Celtic, the best No.10 we can get, whilst we still might have a chance. Not sure what it would cost to prize him away, but I reckon after this season, we'll miss the boat, and he'll go somewhere bigger/richer. Can shoot, can pass, can tackle, has a brain, never stops working and is strong. If Camarasa isn't seen as having much of a future here, then this guy is the real deal, I watched him when he broke through at Inverness, and he was class there, was sold to Celtic, and went to Aberdeen on loan where he did well, and now fully integrated in the Celtic side where he is often the pick in their Euro matches. Some will diss the Scottish football scene, but you can tell when someone does the basic's really well, that they will develop to meet the level they play at
