No idea if it's been mentioned earlier. But the Hawthorns. When we were there and West brom had to beat us to stop wolves going up.

The ground was packed at warm-up. And the roar as they walked off 30mins before KO was something else. We were doomed already. Lost 2-0. No chance.

I'd like to chuck in the away victory at Ipswich with 10 men "10 men, we've only got 10 men"

The loudest atmosphere I’ve ever experienced was at Hillsborough in 1984 when we played Sheff W. They needed a point to win promotion and seriously, the noise was actually hurting my ears. The Wednesday fans were packed in their home end, and from our relatively spacious Leppings Lane vantage point, they looked like a massive swarm of bees to me.

They won 1-0 in the end through a totally dubious penalty. Looking back I realise now this was the very end of Mullery’s tenure - just 3 more matches in charge. Little did we know that our next appointment, a month later, would catapult our club to unimaginable heights.

Probably already mentioned, the 5v0 defeat at Anfield in the league cup semi second leg was very good
