Commercial Landlords get a lot of grief regarding not reducing rents but in reality many buy their properties through their own Mortgages meaning they are not always in a position to be able to reduce rents. Many have a break even policy until the property is paid down.

Fridges and freezers may ne essential but unless they've actually got some they might as well shut. And if yours packs up you are seriously goosed.

I’ve not met too many struggling landlords. They play golf most of the time or travel. If i qualified for government support most of it would end up in the landlords holding company offshore. How does that help the economy. Let’s face it, they are the group that as a rule takes money for basically doing **** all other than owning stuff. They are the group that the least consideration should paid too.

Maybe not, Whirlpool have tonight instructed all their engineers to keep on visiting 12 jobs a day with no PPE.

Get your machine fixed with a dose of Covid-19 chucked in for free.

Sports Direct staying open as they convinced the government that they are key workers and the only company to be able to supply home fitness equipment nationwide.

I think they publicly argued that they were exempt and the government said close.

Obviously behind closed doors it may have been different

There are good landlords out there, but the failure of decades of being unregulated and uncontrolled has made it a market ideal for bastards, grubbers and scummers.

Sports Direct provided sporting equipment? I thought they were a clothing brand for pikey wanna be gangsters who think they're big time because they sell £20 bags of weed to other teenagers.

Kind of an ungentlemanly outfitters of trackies and discout kicks.

Well they do have that little section with £4.99 cricket sets, the ones that come with a tennis ball.

They have a range of items catering to a broad spectrum of the community. They stock school text books for example as well as office supplies. Would not even underestimate the fact they sell newspapers so that is essential for government messages to reach parts of the community who can't or won't go online.
