Did you witness Des Bulpin’s football? My mate worked with him said he was totally committed to long ball football.

He ended up at Millwall with Holloway I believe.

That sounds too much like a one size fits all sausage like production line for players. There will be no more players like Best, Gazza, Puskas and Maradona.

Yes. Hated it. My worst season in many seasons of following U18s. Players didn't relate to him. He was a dinosaur.

He is Holloway's mate which was the sole reason he got the U18 job.

Everyone hated his football, players, parents etc

Not sure about Djilali and Pinney. but the fact neither of them ended up in even league football suggests the club was right to release them when they did. You could throw in Sekajja and Cadogan as well I guess.
Djalili now coaches in Fulham's academy

Wiggins was the biggest waste in terms of injuries. Honestly thought he was gonna be a top premium player.

I think this may not be entirely correct... they did a interview with Richard Shaw, he seemed to hint at a few issues... nowt major... just a few comments about timekeeping.

I think he maybe still plays deep in non-league as he was at Three Bridges last year, but he's definitely involved with Fulham. He also coaches with Junior Elite - where he was a grassroots player (same club as Wan-Bissaka). I think that's partly due to Colin Omegbehin who was previously an academy coach at Palace and is now at Fulham. In fact, I was told that there were talks for him to come back to Palace this summer but nothing ever came of it.

I wouldn't write it off but Ollie has had a lot of injuries since he joined Palace from Reading. Tim Coe signed him as he worked with him at Reading when he did coaching. Much like Andreas Breimyr who he coached at Aldershot. You won't find many left-footed CBs as comfortable on the ball as him who are so tall. If it wasn't for his height I think he'd have gone by now because of the injuries. But it's low-risk to keep him. Has a chance, but I wouldn't put much money on it. I do like him though.

Woods is an interesting one. Played 20 games last season, was the U23 captain IIRC. Captained the 18s. Palace fan. He's a bit more of an old school CB which is perhaps his undoing. Feel like he will go the same way as Luke Croll, Hiram Boateng, David Gregory and Jake Gray. O'Dwyer probably has a greater chance.

You'll note that these new contracts are only 1 or 2 year deals which tells you that they're being kept on more in hope than expectation otherwise it would be a longer deal.

TBF bad time keeping and being young comes hand in hand its just a case of if they grow out of it.

Not the strawberries, it's the pesticides that certain countries cover them in.
Now remember children - always thoroughly wash (or better, soak for 20 mins), your fruit, it is mostly covered in crap. HTH

Do you think Dreher, if fit, or hungbo could make the first team fringes?

I was told the other day that Dreher is seeing a specialist for his knee injury so he won't be fit for a while it seems. I don't think he would be on the fringes anyway because of how little football he's played in the last two years.

Hungbo was excellent in the 18s but inconsistent in the 23s. If he can bring his U18 form into the 23s then potentially he would be on the fringes - but Lokilo and Lumeka are ahead of him.

Some of the shit fruit available in supermarkets these days would simply dissolve, if you soaked them for that long.
