That sounds too much like a one size fits all sausage like production line for players. There will be no more players like Best, Gazza, Puskas and Maradona.

Yes. Hated it. My worst season in many seasons of following U18s. Players didn't relate to him. He was a dinosaur.

Wiggins was the biggest waste in terms of injuries. Honestly thought he was gonna be a top premium player.

Really? Wow, he's only 27. Did injuries finish his playing career?

I think he maybe still plays deep in non-league as he was at Three Bridges last year, but he's definitely involved with Fulham. He also coaches with Junior Elite - where he was a grassroots player (same club as Wan-Bissaka). I think that's partly due to Colin Omegbehin who was previously an academy coach at Palace and is now at Fulham. In fact, I was told that there were talks for him to come back to Palace this summer but nothing ever came of it.

I wouldn't write it off but Ollie has had a lot of injuries since he joined Palace from Reading. Tim Coe signed him as he worked with him at Reading when he did coaching. Much like Andreas Breimyr who he coached at Aldershot. You won't find many left-footed CBs as comfortable on the ball as him who are so tall. If it wasn't for his height I think he'd have gone by now because of the injuries. But it's low-risk to keep him. Has a chance, but I wouldn't put much money on it. I do like him though.
Woods is an interesting one. Played 20 games last season, was the U23 captain IIRC. Captained the 18s. Palace fan. He's a bit more of an old school CB which is perhaps his undoing. Feel like he will go the same way as Luke Croll, Hiram Boateng, David Gregory and Jake Gray. O'Dwyer probably has a greater chance. You'll note that these new contracts are only 1 or 2 year deals which tells you that they're being kept on more in hope than expectation otherwise it would be a longer deal.

Had a few gins tonight. Some Des Bulpin stories are lolz. The best I remember is that he told people that strawberries gave you cancer

Hungbo was excellent in the 18s but inconsistent in the 23s. If he can bring his U18 form into the 23s then potentially he would be on the fringes - but Lokilo and Lumeka are ahead of him.

Some of the shit fruit available in supermarkets these days would simply dissolve, if you soaked them for that long.
