Feel a bit for Street. He has seniority and worked his nuts off. I get that Omilabu has a great record too but he probably should have walked away and I bet he wishes he had now. Agree with Brighty that it should have been decided before KO though. It’s all part of the learning. We deserved more than 3-1 loss though.

Why should Omilabu walk away if Paddy has told him to take the penalty?

Probably Street was the penalty taker but if Omilabu was subbed on he’s the penalty taker.

Well the thing for David he's stepping up a level and it's not all going to go his way any more. I would have expected there to be a designated penalty taker so I feel like the messing about did probably mess up the rhythm. How many times have we seen this kind of back and forth and it does normally result in a **** up.

If that is the quality of this league then I can only see it as a positive for our young players. I thought the Palace midfield were excellent for about an hour against 10 men and in the end the final 2 Leeds goals came from our weakest side, Jach and Hanam....hummm, not sure either are up to this standard.

Jach has always looked like this. Hannam looked very strong last season but so far this season he looks like he is struggling. Hopefully temporary but noticeably different. I really don’t think there is any hope for Jach and why DF is still persevering with him is difficult to understand. There must be a reason but it must require inside info to understand it. Understand the gamble originally, it’s keeping him on still that’s tough to fathom.

Leeds gave them a proper work out. They really turned the screw. It's not even like our boys played that badly. I like Street his work rate and 'heart' but I suspect his lack of pace is going to need him to watch a lot of videos of Muzza and work on his awareness of when he can take a shot. He's not really quick enough so either he needs to have amazing dribbling ability and touch or he needs to learn all of Muzzas little tricks. He's pretty young though so maybe the club need to work on his explosiveness over really short distances?

He looked sharp and he won the pen of course. As said before Everyone should have known before KO. There shouldn’t need to be any clarification.
