That's St David's hotel in Cardiff Bay and you';ll note the team coach at the end of the video. Therefore, he's heading down West and will no doubt start.

Heard he terminated his contract after having to play a 2 v 2 drill with Benteke as his partner.

Maxie looked one really p*ssed off chappie at the final whistle. First off and couldn't wait to get away. Don't blame him. That's 3 times Roy's brought him on when we have been losing and if he's expecting the lad to perform miracles, maybe he should give him a start eh?

If it is a lack of match fitness that's stopping him playing more than he should then hopefully the next two weeks will allow him to reach that full match fitness. We look a far better team when he plays.

Even if he cannot last 90 mins, why not start him and take him off when he tires? Perhaps that doesn't sit well with Roy's "no subs before the 89th minute" rule.

He and Kouyote both showed why they need to start from now on.

Maybe Schluppy turned up this morning wearing his EPL winners medal....

Crazy isn't it. You'd start the lad and change him if he doesn't last 90 mins. It's what we did with Cabaye innit.

Pointless buying this bloke.

15 minutes at the end of a game which needed changing.

Shit management.

Youíve answered your own question

A not match fit player plays 90 minutes midweek. That I suspect is why because he was probably not recovered enough for another start. Thatís why I hope it is. I do suspect heíll start next game. If not thatís when itís outright the wrong decision

In that case he should have only been played for an hour against Swansea.

That I agree with. Said as much before and was disappointed when schlupp was subbed off at swansea as he was always playing yesterday

In terms of fitness (or lack of it) he could easily have come on for Schlupp after 60 minutes. Thatís 30 minutes against tiring opposition. Hodgson was clearly at fault not making that sub earlier.

I am hoping for great things as much as anyone but this raging certainty that he will transform our play can't be based on what we have seen can it and it's mostly hopeful. Most on here really have very little knowledge of his week in week out game. He has looked tidy, very comfortable and probably quite 'mean' with the ball. Quick thinking and mobile. All very promising but in short cameos (which is fine because of his period out of the game - we don't want him picking up injuries). It feels to me that we need someone who has the intelligence, confidence and ability to get a grip of a game and orchestrate the play around him. I was hoping to see that against Swansea against some weaker opposition but he doesn't look like that sort of player albeit this was a strange sort of match.

I am just a bit concerned (because our track record isn't good of late) that he is being built up into some saviour and give it a few weeks he will be labelled a waster. Can we give this guy some time to show us what he has got in his locker? He obviously has something but give him a break rather than be disappointed that his isn't what he/we/you thought he was.
