So Johnson took London through the riots then did he?

If I remember correctly,

A) They happened on his watch

B) He was on holiday and refused to come home to deal with them leaving May to bail him out.

Scumbag.

Scumbag.
I recall when he was campaigning for Mayor first time around he did a big march outside Queen Mary's Hospital where he stated saying he wouldn't allow the A&E there to be closed.

Closed not long after he was elected and looks as if its flats now.

Lying bastard and interested it would seem in power for himself for the sake of power. Didn't trust him after this, would never trust him now and will never vote for a party he leads.

As an example of where Johnson is, from the Independent graphic i posted it puts Boris on 82/83 MPs announced as supporting him. Assuming he has those in the bag and they stay with him then to get to the ballot of member he only needs to add another 22/23 to get the magic 105.

It is almost inconceivable he will not be in the final 2 from this point. It would mean he picks up virtually none of the 75 unconfirmed votes, and none of the other candidates next preferences. Its just not going to happen. if the above is true and we will find out tomorrow the others are just fighting it out to be the other choice on the ballot of members.

Remember, too, there will not be a general election before October, and so BoJo, if he wins the contest, will be having to deal with the aftermath of his no deal promise (if all else fails). The poison of Brexit will kill him off, just like his two predecessors, before the next scheduled general election.
If subsequent polls back this up, Boris is PM and calls an election.

I heard today from someone who access to Tory party mandarins that the central forecast within the party is a Johnson-Hunt play off, which Johnson will then win by a landslide with the membership.

I've started digging out the trench for my nissen shelter in the garden.
