Taylor to Brighton - solves two potential problems

TAYLOR TIPPED FOR BRIGHTON JOB
Brighton have called a press conference for 4:30pm at the Withdean Stadium
amid speculation that Peter Taylor is to be named their new manager.
Previous boss Micky Adams left Brighton last week to take up the post of
assistant manager to Dave Bassett at Leicester City.
Taylor was sacked as Leicester boss on September 30 after a poor string of
results that left the Foxes bottom of the Premiership table.
The Filbert Street side took just five points from their opening eight games,
including a 5-0 home defeat on the opening day to newly promoted Bolton and 4-0
to Arsenal at Highbury.
And with Premiership football essential to the club's new all-seater stadium
currently under construction, the board acted swiftly to end Taylor's 14-month
reign.
The former England U-21 manager made it clear at the time that he would relish
a swift return to management and vowed to prove the Leicester board wrong after
claiming they had let a good man go.
