I see a number of the Brighton customer base are upset that nasty people are singing nasty songs about their real heroes, in this case Steven Gerrard.

Funny that.
It's not about attendances, old chap.

You lot laughable claim that most of your 20000 'new' fans are not new fans at all, but 'lasped' fans from your days at the Gallstone Ground.

The fact that most of time the time you couldn't even fill the 7000 odd capacity at the Withdean (including your 2 previous (brief) spells in the C'Ship during the 000's), seems irrelevant.

The fact that you could nowhere near fill the crumbling, reduced capacity Goldstone in the last few years (not even a 10000 average in 90/91 when you got to the old Div 1 play off final) again seems to have passed you by.

So are you trying to claim that thousands of Brighton fans have come flooding back to watch their team after a absence of at least 20 years ?

Some, but not many and if I am wrong, it proves how utterly shallow a lot of your support is - Have to watch, shall we call it Soccer, in a nice, comfortable stadium

I'm sure some of the Brighton fans who post on here (and probably a few dozen on NSC) have supported the team in the real, dark days and they have my utmost respect.

But, despite the fact is that you may get bigger attendances on paper but your supporters (especially the 'new' ones) lack the passion shown by the Palace supporters IMO.

PS A sincere 'all the very worst' for tonight (Although I've got a horrible feeling you may go to Derby with a lead)

Attendances have really served you well against us in recent years haven't they.
Oh hang on, no they haven't.
It's like David and Goliath and the gap will get bigger with every bottling performance you offer up in play offs.
You're David btw. Or should you be Goliath cos he lost?
Well anyhoo, you're the shit one of the 2.

Segregation.

Scousers more of a danger to hubcaps than one's anus so less 'padding' required.

Will you be selling out the away end at Derby County for the second leg? After all, the massive Albion support managed to be the 12th best away support in the second tier (don't worry Simster, I won't do the maths and provide a percentage example with your home support) this season.

And I can tell you honestly with cold, hard facts that nothing, I repeat nothing, will beat singing Wembley songs in your sterile ground as you milled towards the exits last season. Jester hatted heads bowed and clackers abandoned on the padded seats. Nothing.

I'll have you know that there were several double decker buses that went to Gillingham every 'home' game, and that 20,000 people were locked out of withdean for every game

When there's absolutely not a single iota of anything even remotely worth boasting about your team and the results they achieve from playing football it's not surprising these tossers look to attendance or the shineyness of seats in their ground for something to say.
It really is pathetic.

Brighton? LOL.

don't bottle it and choke again tonight Brighton. About time your premiership club with premiership players and premiership fans finally turned up and got promoted to the best league in the world isn't it?
