Dates next to thread titles
Not sure if anyone else thinks this but here goes.

I would find it very handy if the date of the first post of a particular thread appeared next to the thread title in that particular forum.

Quite often, threads such as:
Parish on Sky Sports now....
Warnock press conference at 3.00pm.
Fred seen at training ground today
etc etc.

Or, ancient threads have been bumped.

Would be nice to see when the thread was started when deciding whether to open it or not.

Just a thought.

I'm not sure that's even possible - at least not without a patch or some serious modding.

The issue is that people are bumping old, threads rather than starting new ones. This is an appalling practice, it's frustrating and avoidable.

New threads do not cost anything.

People are just idiots.

Worse is when mods merge threads.

Sickening.
