First saw Motorhead at the Toby Jug, Tolworth in '77, a number of times at Croydon Greyhound and at Reading Festival.
At the Bomber gig at Hammy Odeon (early 80s?) I had to retire to the bar for a while as his bass sound was moving my bowels in a very uncomfortable way  Have tickets for the forthcoming tour - hope to get tribute concert tickets now  RIP

Listened to him being interviewed on the Marc Maron podcast a few weeks back, he did not sound well, very frail and tired.

Genuinely thought he was immortal. A true rock icon and probably gave hope to anyone with a wart on their face that they may sleep with numerous groupies despite it.
