Well injuries can be career limiting in that regard. For example Joel Ward, really reliable solid pro, never really injured for long. All of a sudden he’s out for a month, some kid takes his place and he’ll barely start for Palace again.

Barcelona wanted Guaita but luckily Palace had already agreed a pre-release deal with Getafe.

It is great for Palace to have good strength in depth as far as quality keepers are concerned.

Wayne has had a pretty good, long run. Having few injuries is also a "strength".
We don't know how Vicente will be in the Prem, but he is an agile GK, so maybe more prone to damage.
