Roy is the right choice for now he wasn't the right choice in the summer that would have been dyche

Roy has an excellent club record and a very good England record in qualifying matches but not in tournaments

I would suggest that SP and the board just take a little time and let the dust settle before appointing anyone.

Hodgsons age must be a factor, we cannot afford a short term appointment this time.

Give the Southampton and league cup games to Dougie and Sammy

At least after Woy has come and gone there won't be any OAPs left that we haven't already employed before. We might finally employ someone that's not about to retire and back them properly, haven't we learned? We'll be seeking another manager in May/June or maybe even before that cos I've got no faith in Woy.

Roy with Lewington and Sammy Lee is about as safe a pair of hands as we can get and right now we need a safe pair of hands. With the fixtures coming up we're going to have very few points after 8 games and be marooned at the bottom, change had to happen and i welcome it.

for any new manager the biggest concern is the lack of fire power.

If Benteke gets injured we are screwed doesn't matter who the manager is

That should have been the biggest priority in the window and that will cost us - not sure who's fault that was but a massive error
