Just in case people were not aware, Monteriggioni is a real place.

Purely by accident I had a bit of an AC2 day yesterday, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and ended up in Florence.

I did look it up after playing ACII. Not sure the Auditore's lived there though.

Anyone else playing Assassins Creed: Odyssey at the moment? I'm really enjoying it, the scenery isn't quite as spectacular as Origins, and some of the acting and plot lines are a bit dodgy but thankfully theres no aggravating bits (yet) like the bit in Origins where you had to shoot the snake with a bow and arrow and much wanting to throw the controller through the screen ensued (I ended up selling my copy in CEX before I ended up doing just that).

Enjoying it more than Red Dead to be honest, although maybe its because I've spent a lot more time on this - I'm only up to level 27 and theres still a hell of the map to explore (and wrong 'uns that are a lot more levelled up than me waiting to be taken down).

My wife and I did our 2nd part of our honeymoon in Florence. I showed her the sights again when we got back on Assassins Creed.

I never actually completed a post Ezio Assasins creed game. Just never held my interest for long enough. There was something magical about the renaissance Italy setting (the lack of which was a key reason I didn’t like Revelations that much, but still finished it because Ezio).

AC II my favourite game of the Series, but I did complete Unity which I thought was fantastic and didn't deserve all the negative rep it got to be honest. I actually found Syndicate really boring despite being well excited for a game set in London.
