They were bizarre times. Pardew took a player with a wand of a left foot, who needed to be further up the pitch to make use of it, stripped him of his main attribute in his shooting and turned him into a player who whilst looking 'pretty' at times, became shot shy, couldn't tackle, lacked positional awareness, used to pirouette constantly and lost the ball in dangerous areas more times than I care to remember.

I don't even blame Puncheon, Pardew ruined him.

Is Pardew Michael Jackson?

Punch has had as many clubs as Arnold Palmer for a reason - he always seems to go off but now age is a factor as well. Losing the ability to take a decent corner or free kick [placing the ball, not shooting] is the thing that really is hard to explain and accept of a professional footballer.

You've devised a plan that involves selling Sakho and replacing him at CB with Kouyate?

Really? Got any other great ideas? - i think the Brexit negotiating team are looking for outside-the-box thinkers.

Can on at WHU, so I guess he smoothed everything out.

Missed a sitter from five yards according to Clinton Morrison who was covering the game for Sky. Jeff Stelling remarked that his last goal in any match was for us in the 2016 FA Cup Final.

It was awful, 30 seconds after producing a pass which took 5 west ham players out of the game.

I don't even blame Puncheon, Pardew ruined him.
Our best 2 attacking players at the time when Pardew took over were Bolasie and Puncheon, both playing out wide.

Pardew turned one (a bloke who couldnt shoot) into a striker and the other into a holding midfielder. Mental.

all true, playing bolasie as a striker was particularly inane. Bit like playing Zaha there......

Next Saturday. That is one benefit of it being a ‘loan’ him probably not being able to play.

Plus, Puncheon had scored from some superb free kicks. Pardew appointed Cabaye, did he actually score from a free kick?
