This "massive upheaval in the Summer" stuff is just BBS neurosis/myth.
RH has (very sensibly) said several times, that he wants to retain all of our best players, and continue slowly improving the squad with a few quality signings.
Of course, SP's hand might be forced, and Freedman has form for "drastic restructuring" (Championship stylee), but I hope SP listens carefully to wily old RH.
We need to keep an even keel, and hopefully bring through a couple of good academy lads over the next few years.
Don't rock the (fragile) Palace boat !

With all due respect, we have no-one like him at the club.
Plays through balls, can play up tempo or slow the game down. Takes free kicks and corners as well as being a pretty solid decision maker.
One fault he does have is that he can be a bit ponderous in possession, but that may well be the players around him not working off the ball.
He'd be the first of the relegated players I'd be hunting down.

29 soon. Another player without any resale value.

Unless there's some mitigating behind the scenes that we're not aware of, I'm sure this'll be the approach this summer. Keep the team together. Move on some of the players that aren't really close to the first team, (Riedewald, Puncheon, Sako likely not here next season for instance) and add a 3 or 4 new faces for not crazy money - deals in the mould of Kouyate.

Whilst I'm not sure we need another keeper, I'm amazed it's taken to near the bottom of page 2 for someone to mention Etheridge.

He's had an incredible season and without him, Cardiff would have been relegates about a month ago.

Would be the first name in my list along with Camarasa, no one else from the other relegated teams really jumps out!

He is also a complete nut job. Donít think he will fit in with the squad. I am sure one of the criteria for a potential transfer is character as Iím pretty sure we have a pretty respectful bunch of players.

Our signings have been much better recently - you can't argue with Guaita and the other summer signings plus Batman on loan? Decent work by Dougie.

Sorloth on the other hand.

Luka leaves for free next season; we ain't getting £30M for him unless he signs a new contract.

Agree that Etheridge wouldnt be terrible, especially if Wayne is moved out

Other than this I think its a mixture of players who were hot and cold who we would hope are more consistent under us, or players who are rated higher than they were able to show in poor teams. Some I wouldnt mind a gamble on but I also wouldnt mind if we looked elsewhere

It may not be in the club's hands. I would be very surprised if haven't already at least discussed the possibility of a new deal with his representatives. He may also want to wait to see our other work in the transfer market or if we are keeping hold of our current stars. It might be out of our hands.

Billing. 22 years old, decent left peg, physical, long throw, good in the air and at winning the ball. Could play in a 2 with Milivojevic for years to come. Would absolutely love him here. Not a superstar but very solid.

Like him, but not sure he'd fit in here. Too cultured and luxurious for Roy.

Mooy as a squad player if the price is right.

Mitrovic would be decent as a supporting player, but ideally we'll prioritise a striker with some pace as opposed to another target man.

Camarasa from Cardiff looks pretty good but obviously he was just there on loan.

Billing
Camarasa
Mitrovic

Affordable squad players:
Kongolo
