I thought Bobby Reid was by far and away Cardiff's best player, especially in the second half. good passer, direct running style, can beat a man, chips in with goals - although at 26, may not improve much more, but would be a good squad player

Far from the finished article but I think Karlan Grant at Huddersfield is worth considering. He looks to have work rate, strength and pace up front and at 21 is only going to get better. Had a good season at Charlton and then 4 goals in 12 for Huddersfield since joining them.

Sesengon would fit our formation perfect on midfield left. Play Wilf up top with someone else if he stays. After season he’s had top 6 probaly cooled interest. Perfect time to snap him up.

So did David Marshall last time Cardiff got relegated. He’s gone on to do fvck all, implying that he wasn’t that good after all.

We may well be too slow on Mitrovic:

'Southampton are planning a £30m move for Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, although the 24-year-old Serbia international is also attracting interest from West Ham and clubs in China.'

Could see West Ham selling Arnautovic and bringing in Mitrovic. One angry nutter for another.

The article might as well say ‘Mitrovic has an agent’ in 80 point font.

I agree. He was also very sharp at Bristol City. But curiously, he doesn’t seem to have started very often under Warnock.

Obviously, what we need is a little bit more QUALITY. Players who are game changers.

Just think, if we hadn't thrown 6 points in the direction of Brighton this season and if we had turned just two draws into wins, Brighton would eb relegated now and we would finish up in 7/8th position. We are not that far away from a table position we could all be proud of. A lot of ifs, I know, but not unrealistic!!

I vaguely recall that we were being linked with him when Cardiff signed him. However, with his record in the Champ I think he would be one Warnock would be very keen to hang on to next season.

Only 6 starts since New Year, and was taken off at half time against Bournemouth. Injured or out of favour in the 2nd half of the season?

Other than that fits the DM bill pretty well, especially if we want to play a 4-4-2.

Two players who played for Cardiff when they were last in the Premier League signed for us the following season. Can anyone remember how they worked out?

We have Guaita and Hennessey signed for next season so whether we need one probably comes down to the decision on whether we sign Perri permanently and not sure i have seen if that has been confirmed either way.

Like Meyer hasn't under Hodgson, he doesn't suit the way they play.

He is small so not much use at set pieces which they have a lot of focus on, he would suit a more passing style 4-2-3-1 side playing in behind the striker.

He'd be the first of the relegated players I'd be hunting down.
I think Mooy would be competing with Mile for the same position. May be I've missed that creative side of his
