50M gets two PVAs but only one AWB (at best). If they want both - 80M+

PVA is great on his day. But when he is off his game, he is extraordinarily bad.

Has anyone put statistics together proving if his assists and goals outweigh his errors?

He was playing with an injury when Brighton scored which explains why he let Knockeart run past him to score.

He is the weak link in defence but I wouldn't sell him unless we were offered stupid money. We are not a team striving for perfection and PVA is decent enough at this level to be a part of our solid back 4.

Take 25 Million we can get a decent left back for 10 Million.

A. He's not so weak at the back that we didn't keep an awful lot of clean sheets this season. We weren't perfect but in general our defence was very good this season - I don't think there is a weak link as such and there doesn't always have to be. As a unit they undoubtedly did well this season - especially our preferred 4. You're looking for a weak link in one of the most effective defences we've ever had at this level!

B. He is our best attacking defender and in fact better at attacking than at least half of our midfielders

C. Good left backs are hard to come by. Replacing him with similar quality would be far harder than most people on here seem to realise.

Bournemouth just spent £13m on a left back who hasn't even nailed down a place in a Championship defence. Sure he has a lot of potential but at the moment its only potential.

Yet you make it sound straight forward and easy to find a good Premier LEague left back for £10m. As so often your posts are not very intelligent.

A half decent left back would be a better left back than PVA. To my mind he is a better wing back.

I don't think he has much Brain on the pitch or off it.

He doesn’t need to defend much at those teams, and that’s his problem at palace. If Atlético Madrid were in for him, you’d have a point.

Definitely keep him.

If we sell Wilf it's time to remodel the team.

I think we should play with wing backs and a jonjo shelvey type midfielder, ditching the wingers. Andros is more of a wide midfielder anyway.
