The BBC says it was a trip on Cahill but just before that Luka shoved him with both hands when the goal was disallowed and ref walked back with the ball I was certain he was going to give a penalty to them even if the goal was disallowed

Wonder how many points Fergies Man Utd would have lost at home had VAR been in play for all of those years.

Var sucks the spontaneous joy of a goal out, the cheers will fade away in time . It will end up like the TMO in rugby waiting for the decision the moment has passed by then

so American and tacky that at Selhurst against Manchester City, they played a heartbeat sound effect over the PA while a possible penalty to Manchester City was being considered.
Why on earth do home fans need a heartbeat sound effect to build up tension towards a possible penalty against the team they support?!? So sh*t and lame. Expect the PL make clubs play it by contact to add to the "product" - I hate it.

We are owed VAR by the gods. If it had been around in 1980 at Highfield Road, Clive Allen's goal would have stood and the 80s would have been ours

Having watched the YouTube highlights, thought we got out of jail on the 2nd VAR.

This makes me feel better about the 2nd var decision if true. Also didn't Arsenal get a several goals against us that should've been disallowed in our "early" (post 2013) premier league years? My memory is hazy.

I’m sure there was a handball by Lacazette last season or the season before.

I thought the Laws provided that players like Lacazette were deemed to have four feet and no hands.

From our point of view the Ayew no pen v Villa was a 100% pen so that game had the right result the Utd game was a very close call it went our way so a bit of luck, today the pen was the right call from VAR thought their 3rd was good but i have seen it again and it was a foul but it also looked like it could have been a pen to them for a push before the foul not sure if it was offside either it must have been close anyway a bit of luck maybe.

And the FA Cup in 1990 via the replay when Gray was slashed down in the box only for the Sussex shit Gunn to move the foul outside the box. Fergie sacked, no wanker glory
