Isn't this won't change anything getting very tired now?

Blah blah blah - Won't change formation (has played every flavour of 4 at the back formations since he has arrived with a lot of variation within each one (i.e. Saturday for instance).

Always picks Andros - dropped to the bench when out of form.
Never drops Schlupp - dropped to bench when Andros recovered his form
Never uses his subs - pretty much always using his subs now he has some worth putting on
and so on.

Exactly which (successful) Manager is it that changes his mind about his best 11 each week and who is it that picks the wrong team in the first place and changes his mind at HT - not one I would want to see. I understand that it's a fan's eye view of the world but expecting or lauding a Manager that does it smacks of pundit bollox more than reality. not meant to be quite as a**sy as it reads but cant be a***d to edit soz

BTW - Max isn't quick and speedy is he? That's one of his issues I think. Quick thinking maybe but not quick across the ground.

Expect to see McCarthy and maybe Camarasa cameo over the coming weeks.

Agreed. Team picks itself after Saturday's performance.

I had assumed Townsend was taken off when he was to keep him fit for it. Hate schlupp starting but heís great as an impact sub. Good shooting and so much pace when the game opens up. Flip side is heís woeful at concentrating when we are keeping it tight and organised first hour or so.
That's my take on the Schlupp puzzle as well.

Jairo and Sam Woods next in line if we lose another defender. Crikey.

If Sakho wasn't yet ready to start two games in a few days, I wondered about the merits of shifting Kelly into the middle and dropping Kuoyate to right back...has an engine on him and could plough up and down all day. Also frees up a space in midfield where we are over-stocked for McCarthy or whoever to get a start.

Probably a loaf of rubbish though, most of my ideas are.

I'd play Benteke as Bournemouth CBs are not the tallest.

I still think Riedewald could maybe do a role at right back and move Kelly central if required

Was thinking that myself, for somebody so highly rated in defence at Ajax, surely he could do well at RB? Perhaps even better than Kelly would at right back. Think its gutting Roy doesn't rate him...
