We need them more than us or is it the other way round lol

Who are the tossers who come up with these ideas?

Apart from the banality of it, it's the political equivalent of sticking "kick me" on your arse.

I think there is a room in Whitehall where people sit round a desk and come out with ideas or recycle ideas from 100 years ago lol I can just picture that

Officially got my withdrawal agreement "settled" status today while getting my biometrics taken for the new residence card - was a pretty smooth and easy process all in.

How is the process going for our other BBS Brits in the EU? Also for any EU nationals in the UK? - seen they only have until end of this month to apply and loads still haven't done so yet...

Presumably they have forgotten that many Scottish schools (e.g. Glasgow) break up for their summer holidays on Thursday 24th June at 1pm.

Don't they realise Britain excludes Northern Ireland.

Tugendhat is a solid MP ... Sevenoaks is jealous of Tonbridge when it comes to the local MP.

You've got to be dog shit to be compared unfavourably to Gavin Barwell.

The intention of May was to actually try to make Brexit work. The intention of Johnson was to win an election and then blame the EU for enforcing border policy, whilst all the time talking up UK border controls as a benefit.

I don't think it even crossed their minds that the EU wouldn't just capitulate, even though there is no advantage to them doing so. They half added it, because after they'd win the election, it didn't really matter what the consequences were. As long as it doesn't really affect their contributors, and they can tubthump the nationalist drum, they'll be ok.
