"MPs will get a vote on whether to hold another referendum if they back the EU Withdrawal Agreement Bill, she said.

The bill also contains new guarantees on workers' rights, environmental protections and the Irish backstop as well a customs "compromise".

If MPs reject the bill, she warned them a negotiated exit would be "dead in the water" and Brexit could be stopped."

Interestingly, by offering that vote, she may well ostracise a portion of her own party, causing them to vote against the bill in the first place (when they otherwise might have voted for it).

She has also said that this could be the end of Brexit if it doesn't get through, so why would anyone who wants Brexit cancelled vote for it, when voting against it could get the same outcome with less risk?

Will Corbyn now accept the Labour members wishes of a second referendum, as he isn't getting his version of Brexit on the table, and the Tories aren't going to call a GE!
It looks like he did agree to a referendum on either his or May's deal if they got through parliament. Why doesn't he just say so explicitly and as a definitive policy before the elections on Thursday?! To view the link you have to Register or Login

Would want to see any proposed wording on the referendum first. May's deal vs no deal, for example is a shit choice.

Also it's only the offer of a vote on a referendum

Especially as she will be gone and you cannot bind the EU to whatever she says. May's deal would quickly unwind once people realised just how much it would put the EU in the driving seat so we would be left with no deal or remain in any case.

I'm beginning to believe a Leave (with no deal) or Remain referendum is the only way this will be resolved.

The mad being being harangued by the madder. It really is becoming more and more like the Spanish Inquisition.

Burn the remaining witches, even if they are Brexiteers but aren't true enough believers.

Badly handed by the inept politician. I would have welcomed her over to the camera and asked her what the real deal was for Brexit. She probably would have spouted something about WTO. At that point I would have given her the opportunity of trying to explain to the viewers just how that would work. No doubt that would have given her a few problems and possibly shut her big arrogant smirking mouth up.

Doesnít work on here so why would it work on her?

She would just say freedom, wto rules would be fine, treason, 17.4 million, will of the people, biggest vote ever, destroying democracy and similar shite. It would be like asking the devout to prove god exists.
