I've always used Northumberland Park and have never had to queue. Will be a different story with an additional 25,000 milling about, mind.

Tottenham Hale is actually about 1/2 mile nearer than Seven Sisters and is also on the Victoria line. It has smaller queues and you get on the train first so get a good chance of a seat. Downside is that some trains only start at Seven Sisters but waits are normally less than 5 minutes. The away section is now in the opposite north east corner of the ground off of Northumberland Park but is also is the furthest point away possible however if you study a street map you can cut through back roads and avoid the congestion in the High Road. Northumberland Park rail station which connects to Tottenham Hale and Liverpool Street is also quite close but I would not trust it for this game as the crowd will be doubled from usual so may be chaotic.

I have previously walked to lordship lane then on to bruce grove and caught the 123 bus to turnpike lane on the piccadilly line. It's by no means a perfect solution but it does seem to avoid the crowds. Albeit white hart lane previously had smaller crowds.

You would be getting on an already crowded train at Bruce Grove unless you did the trick of going north to Silver Street (1 station before White Hart Lane) and then returning on a southbound train.

WHL is just round the corner. There are two queues at WHL so you can go north from there fairly quickly and then come back from Silver Street to head south again. |

Both are compared to say Chelsea or Arsenal. It is what it is they are both on nasty little commuter rail lines just the reputation for being hard to get to tends to come from those central london focused (either traveling across or starting out somewhere fairly close to). |

How straightforward is collecting away tickets if I was to do it before the Huddersfield game? Do you collect them from the same place that you would collect home tickets near the Glaziers Lounge?

Very straightforward. Little windows just round by Glaziers main entrance. If you can bring a printout and some form of ID then that makes it easier still.

I was near their ground today so went and had a quick look. It is mightily impressive but strangely you do not notice it until you are right on top of it. It was still crawling with guys in yellow jackets with barriers on all stairways. Still seemed to be a lot of cosmetic work to be finished off and roads closed even with a test game there this weekend.
There is a new large Sainsbury's store right next to the ground but it is only 90 mins parking on match days. The ground is now only metres from the High Road so could be dangerous if they do not close the road before the game as well as the usual closure afterwards. Lots of new electronic signage and the queue signs for White Hart Lane Station send you in different directions for north and south bound trains so do not expect it to be exactly the same arrangements as before. Overground trains are every 15 mins but I expect they will run additional trains. Northumberland Park is only about 400 metres away but is not such a frequent service from Liverpool Street. To get to the ground from Tottenham Hale it is about a mile walk through the back roads. Exit through bus station and turn left onto Hale Road then right into Park View Rd. Turn left into Holcombe Road, then right into Ladysmith Rd which then becomes Parkhurst Rd. At the end cross the path around the park and turn left into Scotland Green and join the High Road at a pub called Bluecoats. Continue down Tottenham High Road and turn right into Park Lane then left into Worcester Avenue. The away end is now in the lower north east corner just down from the junction of Northumberland Park and Worcester Avenue which has now been re-opened.

The Sainsburys was there the last time we played there.
Street parking - the residents zone is massively expanded from what it used to be. I don't think the CPZ extends beyond the Haringey borough boundary to the north (but check), Expect everything to be very slow and congested first game. High Road supposedly closed from 2 hrs before ko, with buses diverted Drop offs for people unable to walk far might be problematic
