Wow rashford. Have a feeling after this World Cup he will be winning the balon d'or. Another good display to keep morale high. It's coming home .

Germany have a terrible run of form, barely beating Saudis for their first victory in 5. And that Gndogan was booed (as would Ozil if he wasn't injured) for meeting the scummy Turkish leader; and in Gundogan's case calling him 'my President'! So Germany to win the whole bloody thing.
As much as i do like this tight knit England team, decent manager I think, England just lack a little bit of extra sparkle. Quarter finals, but then who really knows. Every teams needs a spot of luck.

‘So far’ being key, after playing two crap teams. Belgium will be the true test, unless they throw the match to try and finish second, in that case the round of 16 will be.

We will be playing Belgium reserves tomorrow and may even win it. But like you said the last 16 will be start of the true test and with the amount of Spurs players in the English side, I reckon a Semi as that is what Spurs do (joke)

All the pub teams are now out, so although a really promising start the test starts in the next round. Not worried about the result tomorrow. After this we have to win four on the spin.

Both teams will be desperate to finish 2nd tomorrow. Runner up of the group plays Japan, then the winner of that game either plays Switzerland or Sweden in the QF. So, play for the draw and just get more bookings than them tomorrow so overall we have more bookings and they finish top due to fair play
Then it’s coming home |

Does this mean England and Belgium will both be trying to lose tomorrow to avoid Brazil in the 1/4 final? Could be a strange match.

It's going to be a weird one for sure...

Brazil will need to be at it or they could be bullied off the pitch. Lots of Neymar rolling around to come

The English are too stupid to do the sensible thing tomorrow. Expect a win.
To be honest, do we really want England to go all the way? Most people measure England's progress in major tournaments by the number of drinking opportunities it creates; but the latest kick-off time is 7 o'clock, so we're not exactly losing out on drinking time...unless you're a total piss-head with no self-control. For me, it's just a little bit too early. |
