i would be upset if any England players showed more passion for another country while wearing an England shirt.

I think you are getting a little bit ahead of yourself with your hysterical overreaction.

Weren't the goal celebrations a message that they wanted to play for the Eagles?

Of course. It was a dig at Serbia. The players can’t seriously deny they weren’t trying to provoke, or that it was spontaneous. If FIFA say this is O.K. It opens the door for all kinds of political statements.

Swiss People’s Party right-wing parliamentarian Natalie Rickli; “I cannot honestly rejoice since the two goals were not scored for Switzerland but for Kosovo” now compare and contrast Xhaka’s uncle; “My nephews grew up in Switzerland with respect for the country and its culture. But they were educated in Albania with the love of family and Kosovo. Frankly, I would be incapable to say which is Swiss or Albanian for them. They are a perfect mix.”

Fifa bottled it. Now everyone knows it`s only a fine for political statements.

We could have done with a few players with the wherewithal to pre-plan scoring a few goals last season. Sign 'em up!

They didn't bottle it, they took a cold hard look at how much it would cost them ratings rise if those two weren't playing and decided rightly it wasn't good for their bottom line. Fifa don't give a rats ass about what the right thing to do is, all they care about is money

Tough one, they were provoked but I do not believe in sportspeople pushing political messages during the game.
