They always need to have around three midweek rounds of fixtures every season and obviously these have to be scheduled when there are no European, domestic cup or international matches. There will also be midweek rounds in mid-December and in Feb.

I expect there are more this year as we have had 3 International weekend breaks so far.

No, we have had the same number of international breaks. Only difference was trying to fit 3 fixtures rather than 2 into some of them.
