Cannot see this one happening in view of Viera and Arteta's comments today.

I know things can change but I am not convinced if he is looking for high wages.

Think we have bigger priorities.

Look at who he has played and scored against at that level. It isn't amazing.

And again he beat Saido Berahino out of that record. The only other person to reach double figures for the England U21 side is Nathan Redmond.

It's not a good comparison.

Isn't that partly because he has simply played a lot of games for the 21s though? And the fact we've had a strong team making lots of chances.

But the best of the U21s get moved up to the full team pretty sharpish. He didn't.

I agree with this actually, pressed well, made one excellent run in behind (the type of run we don't normally see) but received a poor pass and generally looked eager to make an impression. Lacazette is also out of contract in the summer and all indications are that he will move on, but Eddie was hooked despite scoring a hat-trick in the previous round. You can totally understand why he wants a move...and if he maximizes how much money he can earn at the same time then good luck to him, we'd all do it.

This may all depend on whether Arsenal reach the final of the League Cup. Either way, I don't think it will be before the final moments of the window.

I think he could do well in the system we are looking to play and a goal scorer in there somewhere!

I think if he stays in this window that Arsenal will give him more chances, a la Martinelli who was similarly frozen out at the beginning of the season, and he will sign a new contract.

Shame, I think he’d suit us with his high intensity pressing. I can see the type of team Vieira wants to build, we are on the right lines.

I feel if we are to get Nketiah then it will have to be in this January window, if not i see us missing out in the summer as there will be clubs offering wages out of our range.
And if that were to happen then a good alternative would be Dennis at Watford, especially if they were relegated as his value would be greatly reduced.

I’m comparing his scoring record to a potential top striker in making, he’s 21 and for me has a clear eye for goal.
You are comparing him to Berahino and Redmond these players clearly are never out out strikers anyhow.
