F*ckin Get In!

What an afternoon/night. One of the best days of my life. Unbelievably emotional.

I still can't quite believe it's happened and just thinking about it brings me near to tears (again!). What an amazing feeling.

I'm not stopping celebrating this for a while!

Wer is Deutscher Meister? BVB Borussia! Wer is Deutscher Meister? Borussia BVB!

Heja BVB!!

Leverkusen need at least a point next week away to Freiburg to take second spot.

Munich are 3 points behind with one game to go but have a far superior Goal Difference. No doubt helped from beating St. Pauli 8-1 this weekend in Hamburg!

You'll be alright. You'll only lose the title by 2 points in the end as we'll lose to Eintracht (we always do!), especially as they need the points.

As for St Pauli getting relegated.

Shame!

I watched Bayern beat St Pauli on Chinese TV.

St Pauli were poor defensively for the first two. They came out and were fighting to get back in the game, and then Bayern just countered and Gomez made it 3-0. After the fifth went in it was al;l downhill, especially when St Pauli made it 5-1. That seemed to set Bayern off. From then, Bayern just wanted as many as they could get.

See you in Europe next season Rob! Leverkusen getting the job done in a 1-0 Away win in Freiburg... A real shame Juup Heynckes is off to FC Bayern, he's really turned things around over the last 2 seasons as the club looked to be slipping further and further down the pecking order in the League.

And he done it spending very little money. Most of the squad were already there before he took over and he added the likes of Ballack and Hyypia on freebies.

Roll on 2011/12 and a first Bundesliga title!

Apparently Neuer is on his way to Bayern for around 24million Euros.

Time to get this thread going seriously I think...

Bundesliga season is 4 games old already, only 2 teams came up this year so not too much to look for there.

Leverkusen currently 8th after a shocking loss on the opening weekend in part thanks to understudy keeper Fabien Giefer who then got concussion late in the game and lost a whole months worth of memory!

Sitting a top the table thus far you won't be surprised to see FC Bayern, followed by Schalke and Werder Bremen who both had shocking seasons last year. Reigning champions Dortmund are sitting in 6th. Of the two promoted clubs Hertha Berlin are sitting in 11th with a win and two draws from their four games so far and Augsburg are 16th with 2 points from 4 games, joined by Kaiserslautern and Hamburg in the bottom three.

It is however still early days. In the 2.Liga the two relegated clubs St. Pauli are 2nd with 13 points from 6 games and Eintracht Frankfurt are 6th on 12 points. Greuther Furth who just missed out on the Promotion / Relegation play off last season are currently top.

Hertha were awful two seasons ago... I reckon they'll hold their own. I think in the Bundesliga you can tell early doors if the new teams are going to do well or not. The only thing I'm not really keen on is the Promotion / Relegation Play off... Top three should come up, or Germany should adopt the usual Play off system like Spain did last season.

German football has seemingly got stronger since they introduced the third professional league. My favoured football these days. Not to mention how strong a group of young players Germany have brought through since about 2007.

Leverkusen taught Augsburg a lesson on Friday it would seem. Good prep for Chelski tomorrow night.

Going to my first Bundesliga game on Saturday, Hertha Berlin at home to Hamburg. Both teams look like they are struggling a bit so it should be a competitive game.

It was a fairly entertaining game, Hamburg winning 2-1. Hamburg looked much the better side first half with Jarolim bossing the midfield and Jansen looking sharp. The big guy up front Paolo Guerrero looked very good alongside Mladen Petrić. Second half Hertha came into a lot more and scored with 10 mins to go. They had a few more chances and really should of ended up with a draw.

It was a good atmosphere for a big newer stadium with a track around the pitch.

Don't know if everyone knows already, but it looks like ITV4 has a weekly Bundesliga highlights show on Mondays at 10pm.

I will be tuning in every week.

I was thinking earlier about how strange it is that Bayer Leverkusen decided to let Rene Adler a German international keeper leave on a free to go to Hamburg, and spent 7m Euros on Bernd Leno, but then I thought... Adler has had a couple of injury hit seasons, and Leno is probably on well under half of Adler's wages etc... So financially in that sense I thought ok I understand, so I was shocked to see today Leverkusen have signed Michael Rensing on a free transfer... His wages from his spell at Bayern must be sky high as it is!!! Plus he's pretty average!
