Exactly this. However you dress it up (as going towards building an academy) the default arrangement for peoples ticket money - even away ticket money that would have headed to Bournemouth/Liverpool/Leicester FC's - is that it will be trousered by CPFC!

The default (if not specifically chosen to be directed to PFL or CPFC) should be a refund onto the card it was paid with IMO.

My guess is it will be based on the number of games we are missing.

Good point.

In that case it should be over £100 at least.

Would of thought a refund would be just over 20% of the Season Ticket cost. (4 games out of 19 missed) but we shall see.

Hopefully this is straight forward but Iím not totally sure, if youíve paid the full amount now divide by 19, times by 4

I think I paid £550 upfront for the Arthur so Iím assuming Iíll get £115.78 to be exact.

Yeah mine is fully paid up now, £550. And it should be what you say, £115.78.

Let us know what the "proposed prices" are for next season and let us reserve our place now. Then we should buy tickets similar to cup games for each home game at 1/19th of the prices until they are able to offer a pro-rata season ticket at some point. A bit like the 1/2 season method.

No, it says you have to email for it to be "considered".

This is what I thought (and posted). The statement is ambigious but seems to say they will give different options for season tickets next week. So far we only know what the options for individual match tickets are.

But we have no real idea when next season will be happening, and even less idea when we will actually be allowed to go to games. The issue you're raising really isn't worth worrying about, is it?

What would make sense, if the club insist on these 3 options would be to say please email the box office before June 6 with your preference (refund, academy or foundation) and if we don't hear by then we will automatically refund to your bank account or credit/debit card.

Yes.. or if you really need to choose an alternative option then give it to the Palace charity not funding an academy of a club owned by billionaires

This is poor from us

This should always be the default option. The only scenario when this would not be the case in where the organisation of which you are a member is attempting to take advantage of it's membership. Thank goodness we don't belong to a club like that eh?

It's a very cynical and sly ploy by the club to make you have to ask for a refund and give such a short window to do it.

There will be a lot of people that miss the email when it is finally sent out next week, and will not remember their Palace login, or will forget to log on and apply etc.

I'd imagine that they will be sitting back and getting free money from quite a significant percentage of supporters by conning them into giving their money to the club under the guise of charity.

If someone comes through the academy and we sell them for £50M, do the club put any of that money back into the academy?

It is pretty bloody disgusting to be honest.

Still... at least Benteke's bootlaces will be paid up for another few weeks at the end of all this

This is what I don't like about all of this. The club have sort of made out that the academy is like a charity, but it absolutely isn't. It is effectively a recruitment and learning centre, that hopes to recruit young men and then turn them into incredibly valuable assets. It is an arm of a business, intended in the long term to simply make or save money.

The idea that the club needs donations for this is absurd, especially when as you have pointed out, only last year we sold one of our academy graduates for £50m.

That's gone my Spanish friend. Amazing how much a bit of cladding, a few brightly coloured bibs and half a dozen size 5 footballs cost these days.

Some fans might not usually use internet for buying there st they might buy it at box office some older fans might have difficulty using a computer so maybe need a phone option as well not at a expensive line or club phone them.
