I wonder what the red line is for Brexiters to not vote for Farage's party? They have few, if any, other policies so what policy would they have to have for Brexiters not to vote for them. Presumably most of them would be ex Labour or Tory voters.

I'm a bit out of touch with brexit. So once Boris has agreed a tiny tweak with the EU we'll get to vote again?

We shouldn't have to stop trading Swiss stocks but we probably will. A 500m population block throwing their weight around bullying a country of several million like Switzerland. Nice.

How is it bullying. Trading was allowed when the Swiss said they would implement market equivalence in due course - and they haven't and now don't want to and also want to reopen treaty negotiations - they pulled a fast one over the EU and not surprisingly the EU have told them to do one.

At what point in history have the largest countries/biggest alliances not enforced the rules in their treaties and/or dominated the smaller nations on this planet?

Welcome to post brexit Britain, former co-dominatrix and soon to be one of the many dominated.

Yeah, if only the EU could forget the interests of its members and adopt the same enlightened attitudes to trade relations as China and the USA.

Post-WW2 Britain - Flushed with victory over the Nazis, the establishment of the NHS, strong sense of right and wrong and a belief in democracy and 'doing the right thing'.

In these idealistic times, Britain voluntarily dismantled it's own Empire (a historical first) for the sake of altruism and democracy.

Ps - Your comments are an interesting insight into your mindset nonetheless.

An interesting, yet wildly inaccurate version of history.

One of the reasons why we dismantled our empire was because we wanted to limit the number of (undesirable) immigrants.
