I know nothing about Jach and have never seen him play, but having read the threads on this post have become convinced that he is at best equivalent to a Sunday morning pub team footballer.

I think the problem is Roy TBH. He showed his failings as England manager. Will not try anyone outside the "circle" of players he is used to unless given no option. He picked his last England squad out of "loyalty" to the players who helped most in qualification and not on form hence why wilshire was selected. Sorloth plays as he has no other forward. When all our defenders are injured he will play jach. Rakip will go back to Benfica having not played unless we have a few more midfielders injured. WTF was the point of our signings in January? The money we spent on their loan and transfer fees and wages would have paid for gaieta FFS. I don't normally get angry about transfers but when we are struggling to field a team.......

Extremely low information thread.

How many posters have ever directly seen Jarosław Jach play?
How many posters know the information available to Roy Hodgson?

I think RH's biggest failings as you mentioned amongst other things was/is his terrible lack of preparation with the England team and throughout his career and his continued failures to address those issues now, how long has he been coaching? the prime example of his incompetence was his insistence on continually picking The Granny Shagger for the national team and even Man U fans were saying he was finished as an international player even before the 2102 EC, I wonder why the silly old senile idiot kept selecting him?

A depressing number of Manchester United fans to this day insist Wilfried Zaha is shit.

He has flaws, but I trust Roy Hodgson's judgement over every single United supporter on the planet.

Wayne Rooney scored 25 goals in 46 internationals from the start of 2012 until the end of his career.

Fergie thought he was good enough to be a Man U winger and they have had some great wingers. I have always assumed our Pole was one for the future but you would have thought he might have made the bench ahead of Damo

I think the only difference this makes is whether it was a mistake to buy him (given our priority in the window was players ready to play now), or a mistake to not be playing him.

If he's good enough but RH isn't playing him, then he is at fault.

If he's not good enough to play now but was supposed to be, then DF is at fault.

If DF was instructed to identify players for the future even if they aren't ready to contribute, then SP is at fault as whatever resources we had needed to be directed towards strengthening the first team NOW.

It looks like a cock-up to me, we just can't be sure who is responsible.

Several Spurs players tried to lever him off and lost out. His passing is not super meh it's not what he's in the team for. His defending was fine for cf. I was at the match near the touch line and saw plenty of him, he kept going and tried to be positive when he had the ball at least as useful as Wickham and Campbell.

Of course, we didn’t do that & Just assumed clubs would buckle at the last minute & accept our average offer. From what I’ve heard about Guaita, our approach is actually quite arrogant. If clubs were coming & offering half of a 1/4 of the value for Wilf & expecting us to accept, people would be up in arms about it. Getafe & Lille has every right to hold out for the values they want - if we deemed that too much, we should’ve had fallback options like I said. Which would’ve meant we had a bit of squad depth now.
Tosun was never signing for us after his start and then Everton coming in. Babacar has gone backwards and the boy from Preston given the similar cost I'd rather take a player who has played International football and was playing for current leaders in his league.

Both Lille and Getafe are totally ****ed. Lille have a FPP charge that could see them get relegated from Ligue 1 if they don't bring cash in so now whatever they do there is a chance they are gone. Getafe had no leg to stand on either their chairman has ignored a clause in his players contract and is notoriously an enormous penis he's lost the fans their attendances are plumetting. Any one in that situation (brought on by their own moronic 'skills') with any logic would have taken the money. The fact that we ended up trying to deal with the French and Spanish versions of Simon Jordan does'nt mean we should just accept their ******* around.

I swear some our fans would just bend over and take it if they were running the club.
