Cheap gamble? He was one of the best defenders in the Championship. There's no gamble there. He's got a knee injury, it's not the end of the world.

Especially since there's no doubt the backroom staff will have changed over this period too.

Pretty amazing that he has been out for best part of a year and the injury was only spotted when we did a medical on him in January. He was still starting for WBA at the time.

We should of snapped up the Brighton dwarf, what the fack are our dozey scouts doing, was just up the flipping road, surely we should of been keeping tabs on him and he probably would of preferred to stay in London, wake up Palace for Christ sake!

This is nothing new. He’s been in training for a while but can only run in straight lines as he keeps getting injury set backs.

It's funny how good a player gets when he doesn't play.

He has played a total of 1750 mins in 21 appearances in the Championship.
Difficult to be factual but if you take his whoscored ratings as a rough guide. He was rated as the 99th best rating in the Championship when matched against other defenders.

I think and hope he might be a good prospect but that description is one more of hope than accuracy surely.
