So how comes you liked The Dark Knight then? Shouldn't he have been running around in tights with big POWs on the screen when he punched someone!

It's fashion at the moment to make things darker and grittier and films are better for it IMO.

Only Ironman got the mix perfectly between funny and serious.

Can't stand him. Brosnan was even better than him!

Either way, i was still tempted to bad rep you for liking Statham!

I thought you had great taste in films up until then.

You've ruined my illusion of Paf being too cool for school.

Easy, I hated the old Batman movies.

Ironman was truly excellent. I await Watchmen though to set the bar even higher.

Casino Royale - excellent
QoS - not very good at all

Craig - was decent enough in both films and is def the best Bond since the original and the best.

but I like Luc Besson movies, Leon and The Fith Element are cool, and Statham was perfectly cast in Transporter, he is terrible in a lot of films though.

Brosnan i liked, and from the film makers documentaries he added a lot of the little bits in himself, he knew and understood who and what Bond is better than most. But it depends on what you are comparing him too.

Connery was the original screen Bond, so many compare to that but if you actually take how Bond was written until now the closest was probably Dalton with a dark edge to him, Craig has that but then lacks the black hair.

Interestingly Audiences have lost interest since the early films and comparitively Casino Royale made the bost at the Box Office for a Bond Film since 1977 (Live and Let Die i think) so must be doing something right. Not sure despite having a much bigger budget that Quantum of Solace will fair as well.

DC's Bond is much closer to the Bond of the books. No gadgets in them either.

No. George Lazenby has the privilege of his one and only Bond appearance taking that title, IMO.

I thought Lazenby had promise, and the film was a good one. There are a few contenders for worst Bond film ever, and Die Another Day is certainly one of them.

of course, I suggest you do too, especailly if you like Roger Moore as Bond, the whole transporter thing is a riot, Luc Besson is taking the right royal piss and I love them.

Really? I thought the film and acting were awful.

Almost all of Roger Moore's are average, too - the films were so bad they turned into pseudo-comedies which aren't very funny.

And any film that has Grace Jones as an object of desire... I mean, WTF?

where you getting your stats? Since bond moved to copying Bourne, the takings have rocketed.
